PasswordPusher Hosting
Managed PasswordPusher, ready in under a minute.
PasswordPusher is an open source app that shares passwords, sensitive text and URLs through links with a limited lifetime. Choose how long a push stays available and how many times it can be viewed, then send the generated link instead of putting the original secret into an email or chat message. It suits IT and support teams handing over credentials.
Add an optional passphrase, follow access in an audit trail, and expire a push early when it is no longer needed. A JSON API and an official command-line client also let you fit temporary secret sharing into onboarding scripts and other workflows. It encrypts data on the server but isn't end-to-end encrypted, and it doesn't replace a password manager's vault.
What you can do with PasswordPusher
Hand over temporary credentials or sensitive notes with clear view and time limits, then check whether the shared link was accessed.
Expiring links
Set a maximum age and view count for each push. Once either limit is reached, the link stops revealing the secret and the payload is removed from the active application.
Passphrase protection
Require a pre-shared passphrase before a recipient can read a push. Send that passphrase through a separate channel for an additional access check.
Access history
Review a push's access and expiration history. Signed-in users can organize their pushes in a dashboard, with audit records remaining after the secret expires.
Scriptable sharing
Create and manage pushes through the JSON API or official command-line client. Point integrations at your own instance rather than the public service.
