Open your pod URL in a browser and follow its account and workspace setup prompts. In Twenty's standard single-workspace configuration, the first user becomes the administrator and later users join that workspace. Complete that setup before sharing your pod URL.

Add your first people and companies, then adjust fields and views before importing a larger CSV. Use your pod URL, not the sign-up flow for Twenty's separate paid cloud service. No. PikaPods sets up and runs Twenty CRM for you, including OS and app updates and HTTPS. You won't touch Docker or a server. Your files and database stay accessible if you ever want to move them elsewhere.

Connecting Google or Microsoft accounts to a self-hosted instance needs provider-side OAuth application configuration, not just a Twenty login. Microsoft's integration requires an eligible Microsoft 365 license. Follow the self-hosted integration guide and confirm the required configuration is available for your pod before relying on sync.

Application emails, such as invitations and password resets, use separate SMTP settings. PikaPods does not provide email sending: bring an SMTP service using port 465 or 587, since port 25 is blocked. Mailbox and delivery-provider charges are separate from hosting.

The self-hosted open-source core does not require Twenty's cloud subscription. Premium features such as SSO, row-level permissions and audit logs require an Organization Self-Hosted license; a cloud subscription does not activate those features on a pod. Optional AI features use your own provider keys and can incur usage charges. See the self-hosting billing FAQ before choosing integrations or premium controls.

Set up incremental backups to S3 in your pod settings for automatic nightly snapshots, or download your files and database yourself. We keep whole-server backups for server failures, but they aren't a per-pod restore service, so your own backup is what protects your data.

You can use Twenty CRM instead of Salesforce and Pipedrive. PikaPods runs it for you, and you can move your files and database elsewhere.

Salesforce is a much broader hosted suite. Twenty focuses on people, companies, pipelines and a data model you can change, with APIs and workflows to connect other tools. Plan to configure email and calendar providers yourself, and check its license terms if you need SSO or row-level permissions.

No separate desktop installation is needed to start using the CRM. Open your pod URL in a web browser and sign in to your workspace. Connecting your email or calendar account is a separate integration step, not a requirement for maintaining customer records.

No. You add prepaid credit and your pods are billed by the hour from that balance, rounded up to full hours. There are no contracts or minimum terms: delete a pod anytime and billing stops. Optional automatic top-ups keep your pods running without manual payments.

You do. And you're in full control. If you ever want to download, migrate, edit or delete your data, just enable file and database access for your pod and it will be right there.
