Open your pod URL and follow the workspace setup screen if this is a fresh installation. Create the workspace and owner account, then add a space and your first page. Once your email settings are ready, invite teammates. See the installation guide for initial setup.

No. PikaPods sets up and runs Docmost for you, including OS and app updates and HTTPS. You won't touch Docker or a server. Your files and database stay accessible if you ever want to move them elsewhere.

Docmost is accessed through your pod URL in a web browser. Teammates can use their own accounts to view and edit pages according to their permissions. Keep the pod URL handy when sharing the workspace.

Configure SMTP or Postmark for workspace email such as invitations; the provider may charge separately. Docmost offers enterprise features such as SSO and AI under a separate commercial license. See the email configuration and paid feature list before planning those integrations.

Set up incremental backups to S3 in your pod settings for automatic nightly snapshots, or download your files and database yourself. We keep whole-server backups for server failures, but they aren't a per-pod restore service, so your own backup is what protects your data.

You can use Docmost instead of Confluence and Notion. PikaPods runs it for you, and you can move your files and database elsewhere.

Both organize team pages into spaces, with comments, history and permissions. Confluence is a large hosted platform that connects closely with other Atlassian tools. Docmost is smaller and focuses on collaborative editing in nested pages. Enterprise code is separately licensed, so check which features you depend on before switching.

No. You add prepaid credit and your pods are billed by the hour from that balance, rounded up to full hours. There are no contracts or minimum terms: delete a pod anytime and billing stops. Optional automatic top-ups keep your pods running without manual payments.

You do. And you're in full control. If you ever want to download, migrate, edit or delete your data, just enable file and database access for your pod and it will be right there.
