Tymeslot Hosting

1. Open your pod and register your own account. PikaPods makes the first registered account the administrator.
2. Activate the account using its verification email. If outgoing email is not connected yet, PikaPods says the activation link is available in the pod logs; treat that link as private.
3. Set your profile, time zone, availability and a meeting type, then connect the calendar and meeting location you want to use.

Configure outgoing email before accepting real bookings so guests receive confirmations and you receive notifications. The email setup guide explains SMTP and supported email APIs.

No. PikaPods sets up and runs Tymeslot for you, including OS and app updates and HTTPS. You won't touch Docker or a server. Your files and database stay accessible if you ever want to move them elsewhere.

Use your pod's website in a browser on your phone or computer. Guests open your booking link without a Tymeslot account, and can use the links in their emails to cancel or reschedule. Joining a video call uses the selected provider's browser or app, not a video server bundled with this pod.

Provide an SMTP account or supported email API and an authorized sender address; email-provider charges are separate. Google and Microsoft calendar connections require your own OAuth application configuration and account authorization. CalDAV instead uses a reachable calendar server, its URL and an account or app password; a calendar on your private home network is not automatically reachable from PikaPods.

Video is optional. Zoom requires a Zoom account and self-hosted OAuth app setup; its own limits apply and Tymeslot recommends a paid plan. Teams needs the Microsoft app configuration and an account entitled to host meetings. Other integrations may need a separate video service, or you can use a custom meeting link. These providers and any subscriptions are not included with your pod; check which required configuration settings are available before choosing an integration.

Set up incremental backups to S3 in your pod settings for automatic nightly snapshots, or download your files and database yourself. We keep whole-server backups for server failures, but they aren't a per-pod restore service, so your own backup is what protects your data.

You can use Tymeslot instead of Calendly and Acuity Scheduling. PikaPods runs it for you, and you can move your files and database elsewhere.

Both give guests a booking page that checks your calendar. Calendly is a hosted service where the integrations are ready to connect, with team features in paid plans. Tymeslot runs on your pod, so you set up the calendar, email and video connections yourself. In return, your booking pages and meeting types stay in your own instance.

No. You add prepaid credit and your pods are billed by the hour from that balance, rounded up to full hours. There are no contracts or minimum terms: delete a pod anytime and billing stops. Optional automatic top-ups keep your pods running without manual payments.

You do. And you're in full control. If you ever want to download, migrate, edit or delete your data, just enable file and database access for your pod and it will be right there.
