Open your pod and unlock the default profile using the password configured as DEFAULT_PROFILE_PASSWORD during pod setup. Use Browse Files or drag supported log files into the import area. DJI TXT, Litchi CSV and Airdata CSV files are supported. The separate PROFILE_CREATION_PASS value controls creating or deleting additional profiles; it is not the default profile's login password. No. PikaPods sets up and runs Open DroneLog for you, including OS and app updates and HTTPS. You won't touch Docker or a server. Your files and database stay accessible if you ever want to move them elsewhere.

Open your pod's URL in a browser on a computer or phone, or install the interface as a Progressive Web App where supported. The web dashboard is best on a larger screen. For uploading logs from a local folder to your hosted server, the separate OpenDroneLog Sync companion supports Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Configure your pod's URL and authenticate to the desired profile; the uploader is optional and is not the standalone desktop analyzer.

Open DroneLog does not require a separate software subscription. Encrypted DJI V13+ logs need an internet connection to obtain decryption keys for new files. The project includes a shared API key, which has rate limits; you can optionally obtain your own key using a DJI Developer account. The app is not entirely offline: optional weather lookups also use an external service. See the DJI key guide.

Set up incremental backups to S3 in your pod settings for automatic nightly snapshots, or download your files and database yourself. We keep whole-server backups for server failures, but they aren't a per-pod restore service, so your own backup is what protects your data.

You can use Open DroneLog instead of AirData UAV and DroneLogbook. PikaPods runs it for you, and you can move your files and database elsewhere.

Both analyze flight logs, with telemetry, maps and battery information. AirData UAV is a hosted service with its own automatic sync options. Open DroneLog stores your logs on your pod, and it can import Airdata CSV exports so you can bring existing flights across. Its separate sync tools are not the same thing as a hosted connection, so check how you'd upload new flights.

No. You add prepaid credit and your pods are billed by the hour from that balance, rounded up to full hours. There are no contracts or minimum terms: delete a pod anytime and billing stops. Optional automatic top-ups keep your pods running without manual payments.

You do. And you're in full control. If you ever want to download, migrate, edit or delete your data, just enable file and database access for your pod and it will be right there.
